Tokyo fashion week SS 2011

Every year Japan holds the annual Tokyo fashion week, Theres alot to say about this event and how huge it is, but im not going to go on and on about it.
I'm just going to show you my personal favourite pieces from a few collections.
First up - Banal Chic Bizarre.
I actually thought this collection was amazing, i liked the way the models were styled and the collection as a whole. 'TOKYO FASHION' said: ''The Banal Chic Bizarre event was one of our most anticipated shows of this fashion week, and we weren’t disappointed. The models were all wearing helmets and the lighting was harsh, creating a sort-of Mad Max-inspired atmosphere – perfect for showcasing the unique vision of this creative Harajuku street brand''

''Shibuhara Girls''

Japan is going to be releasing its first reality show produced in the country.
''Shibuhare Girls'' will follow the adventures of four young women as they try to make a name for themselves in the competitive Japanese fashion industry. The action will be centered around Tokyo’s famous Harajuku and Shibuya districts, giving the series its name. The “Shibuhara Girls” TV show will presented in a season lasting 12 episodes. Each episode will be 30 minutes long. “Shibuhara Girls” will begin airing on MTV Japan in January of 2011. After its debut in Japan, the series is expected to be shown in other Asian markets including Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Korea, and the Philippines. No word yet on whether the Shibuhara Girls will eventually make their way to America, the UK. MTV hasn’t released any promotional material to let us know what the series will look like yet – or who the real Shibuhara Girls are – but i will update you once we have more information on the show. I cant friggin wait!
I hope it airs over here!

Roaming the streets of London

This is also a late one.
Being a fashion student does have its perks, We all took a long ass trip down to London's Victoria & Albert museum, then down to Oxford street and Selfridges.
To be honest, ive been to the V&A before and once youve seen it once you dont need to see it again. Oxford was how it always is, busy and full of interesting people.
Selfridges in London is obviously much better then the one in Birmingham, i mean, i seen a women having her foot skin eated by fish in the middle of the store. Vivienne westwood's corner was really nice, but oh so expensive!
I love riding the tube, its nothing like the bus or the 'peasant wagon' as i like to call it.
Me outside the V&A. Then me & the girls underground.
