College - Inspiration

Thinking of all the deaths which occur in my story i started thinking about clothes which were appropriate to wear when morning and came across Gareth Pughs AW and 2007 collections. I loved the way this first collection looks very dark and something you could wear to a funeral while the second looks very catwalk, i really think the clear plastic/pvc looks amazing and works really well. I would like to do something which meets in the middle of both of these.

College-Religoin

Now the world seems to becoming to an end, nearly everyone is turning to religion.
Some think this is the wrapture. Others think God is punishing us. In my story i am a dedicated christian but i have my own view on what and why this is happening.
i always have my bible near by and Isaiah 66:12-14 always conforts me.
For this is what the LORD says:
"I will extend peace to her like a river,
and the wealth of nations like a flooding stream;
you will nurse and be carried on her arm
and dandled on her knees.

13 As a mother comforts her child,
so will I comfort you;
and you will be comforted over Jerusalem."

14 When you see this, your heart will rejoice
and you will flourish like grass;
the hand of the LORD will be made known to his servants,
but his fury will be shown to his foes.

College - The basics

What does my world look like once this war had started?
My story is based on a young british person who has moved to Tokyo Japan, Although the war has been going onh for months it is far from over, people are dying everywhere and the radiation from the nuclear bombs are effecting peoples health. all the buildings and structures have gone to ruin and are falling down, but despite all this the government is still trying to keep order.

College - The theme.

My theme?
I did this quickly to explain my theme at the basis of my story.
The images represent the catastrophe which ive chosen to base my post-apocolyptic story around, It is about nuclear war, the death of most the population and how religion is involved.
